Anchrd Tabs is a Chrome extension that controls where new tabs open in your browser. This policy explains what data the extension does and does not collect.

Data we collect

Anchrd Tabs collects no personal data. The extension stores only your preferences - such as tab positioning rules, focus behaviour, and close-tab activation settings - using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API. These preferences are synced across your devices by Chrome and are never transmitted to any external server.

Data we do not collect

• No browsing history or URLs
• No tab content or page data
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No identifiers of any kind

Permissions used

• tabs - to read tab position and opener relationships, move tabs, and manage focus when tabs are opened or closed
• storage - to save and sync your settings across devices
• tabGroups - to add a new tab into the same group as its opener tab
• sessions - to detect when a tab is being restored via Ctrl+Shift+T, so the correct positioning rule is applied

Remote code

The extension does not load or execute any remote code. All functionality runs entirely from the locally installed extension files.

Third parties

Anchrd Tabs does not share any data with third parties. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or network requests of any kind.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date.
